Peutenhausen is a church village in the municipality of Gachenbach in the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen . It was the same until 1978 parish seat community .

Peutenhausen is located six kilometers northwest of Gachenbach on federal highway 300 in the middle of the Hallertau in the Ingolstadt planning region .
history
The church village was part of the Schrobenhausen Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , the municipality of Peutenhausen was created with the municipal edict of 1818 , which also included the towns of Habertshausen, Osterham and Westerham. It was incorporated into Gachenbach on May 1, 1978 .
