Ampflwang parish church
The Roman Catholic parish church of Ampflwang is in the market town of Ampflwang in the Hausruckwald in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria . The church consecrated to St. Martin belongs to the Deanery Schwanenstadt in the Diocese of Linz . The church and the former cemetery are under monument protection .
A church was mentioned in documents in 1140. After a fire, a new church was built in 1897/98.
A simple south portal has been preserved from the previous Gothic building. The hall church closes with a fifteenth note. The west tower carries an onion with a lantern .
Furnishing
The side altars and the pulpit were transferred here from St. Marienkirchen am Hausruck .
The single manual organ with ten registers was built in 1900 by Johann Lachmayr from Linz-Urfahr .
The south-facing windows were made to designs by Rudolf Kolbitsch. The round window was made according to a design by Lena Göbel in the Schlierbach Abbey glass workshop .
