architecture

The baroque hall building faces south.

The simple exterior with arched windows has a slightly drawn-in, rounded choir. On the east side of the choir stands the mighty tower, which has a Gothic core. A two-storey sacristy is added to the west. The tower, with large, arched sound windows, has a pointed helmet over a horizontal cornice with bell-shaped curved pointed gables on each of the four sides of the tower. Small round arched windows and the west portal with a volute wedge are situated in the three-axis western front with curved bent gable. The portal is from 1740, has a wooden door with carving from the construction period, above it a niche figure with the baroque figure of St. Michael around 1740.

The interior of the church consists of a four-bay nave with a barrel cap over wall pillars and a combat cornice, followed by a round arch, the one-bay choir with a semicircle and side galleries between the pillars. In the west yoke is a two-storey gallery. The baroque stucco on the windows, on the triumphal arch and in the vaults show foliage and ribbon work and rosette grilles from 1740 and are attributed to Hans Singer.

The ceiling fresco was painted by Johann Georg Höttinger in 1746: in the medallions the Lord's Supper, the Angel's Fall, the Sacrifice of Isaac, in the vaults the four evangelists , Daniel in the lions' den, the liberation of Peter, the birth of Christ, Michael with the cross of Christ, the awakening of the Dead and Lots escape.
