history

The initial hunter's chapel was mentioned in a document in 1421. In 1731 the foundation of a benefit was named. The current baroque building was erected in the 18th century and rebuilt in 1848 and provided with a vault. The church was elevated to a parish church in 1854.

architecture

The presented mighty west tower has round arched windows and bifor windows and wears an onion helmet. The west portal has an iron-studded door.

The church has a front area on the tower ground floor with a flat barrel vault with stitch caps. The four-bay nave has square vaults between belts on pilasters . The west gallery rests on a pressed vault. The retracted choir shows more prominent pilasters. The sacristy attached to the north has a barrel vault with stitch caps and cross ridges.

Furnishing

The late baroque high altar with newer additions to the side was transferred here from the winter church in Maria Wörth . The neo-Gothic side altars and the neo-Gothic pulpit, with carved figures and reliefs, were created around 1900.
