Parish church Frankenau

The Roman Catholic parish church of Frankenau stands on the Breitanger of Frankenau ( Frakanava in Croatian , Frankó in Hungarian ) of the community of Frankenau-Unterpullendorf in the Oberpullendorf district in Burgenland . It is dedicated to the feast of All Saints and belongs to the Croatian dean's office in Großwarasdorf .

history

The church was already a parish around 1400. Today's neo-Romanesque building was built in 1877. A restoration took place in 1975.

Architecture and equipment

The neo-Romanesque church has a retracted choir with a round apse . The west tower has a pointed helmet. The nave is a large, single-bay, sober room. It is vaulted with a barrel with stitch caps . The three-axis gallery lies on a square vault . The high altar was built in neo-Renaissance forms . The side figures represent St. Peter and St. Paul . The high altar was created in the 18th century and later changed. The two side altars are neo-Romanesque. The bell was cast by Josev Dival in Vienna in 1727 .
