Church building

Church exterior

The church is a single-nave hall building with a somewhat retracted semicircular choir. The eastern facade tower has a high double onion helmet . A two-storey sacristy is built on the south side of the choir .

Church interior

Under the tower and gallery is a six-bay vestibule, which is vaulted with groin . The nave has three bays and is square vaulted . In between are belt arches that rest on strong pilasters . The gallery is triaxial. The triumphal arch is semicircular and separates the nave from the choir. In the choir bay there is a square vault, in the apse there are stitch caps between belt arches. The church is sparingly decorated with stucco.

Furnishing

In the apse is a crucifix from the second half of the 18th century. The carved figure of St. Nicholas is a late Gothic carved figure from around 1500. It was restored in 1967. On the walls of the nave there are figures of the holy kings Stephan and Emmerich . The two figures date from around 1770 and originally stood at the high altar. Two other carved figures depict St. Barbara from the second half of the 18th century and St. John Nepomuk , also from the second half of the 18th century. On the parapet of the organ gallery are seated figures of the four evangelists from the second half of the 18th century . They come from the pulpit that was demolished in 1966.
