Parish church of Oberrabnitz
The Roman Catholic parish church of Oberrabnitz is located in the village of Oberrabnitz in the Draßmarkt municipality in the Oberpullendorf district in Burgenland . It is the feast Ascension consecrated and belongs to the deanery Oberpullendorf in the diocese Eisenstadt . The building is a listed building .
history
The parish was first mentioned in a document in 1788. According to the inscription above the east portal, the church was built in 1837 and restored in 1971.

The church is a simple building with a facade tower and a recessed square choir.
- Church interior
The nave is three-bay and divided by belt arches that rest on pilasters . In between is a narrow square vault . The triumphal arch is rounded.
Furnishing
The furnishings in the "belated baroque" style come from the construction period. Next to the tabernacle on the high altar there are figures of Saints Sebastian and Leonhard . On the wall is an oil painting depicting the scene of the Ascension of Christ. On the left side altar is a statue from the 18th century. The theological virtues are depicted as reliefs on the pulpit .
