Rugendorf parish church
The Rugendorf parish church is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church in Rugendorf in Upper Franconia .
The church is dedicated to Saints Erhard and Jakob . It was built as a chapel around 1350 . The original building was later extended to include a nave . The patron saint Jörg von Waldenfels , who also built the adjoining castle , introduced the Reformation in 1552 and the church has been Protestant ever since.

The organ work was built in 1906 by the organ building institute of Johannes Strebel , Nuremberg. With the addition of the rear case, it was placed in the Rococo prospect of the Georg Ernst Wiegleb predecessor organ from 1759. The organ has 13 labial parts , distributed over 2 manuals and pedal, with a tube-pneumatic action. Your gaming table is free.
