Care (Care - The scientific journal of Nursing) is in Switzerland published in German nursing science journal . It has been published six times a year since 1988, making it the first journal of its kind and an important step towards establishing nursing research in German-speaking countries. The print run is 1700 copies. The tables of contents from 1999 onwards have been put online and the associated full texts are available to subscribers. Submitted manuscripts are subject to a review process .

Care appears in the by Hans Huber founded and since 1984 Hogrefe belonging AG Hogrefe, Bern (formerly Verlag Hans Huber). The editors are Dietmar Ausserhofer, Katrin Balzer, Gabriele Meyer , Martin Nagl-Cupal, Eva-Maria Panfil and Anna-Barbara Schlüer.
