Phil Walker-Harding (* 1981 in Wollongong , Australia ) is an Australian game designer who is best known for the board game Imhotep: Builder of Egypt , which was nominated for the 2016 jury award Game of the Year .

biography

Phil Walker-Harding began developing games in the mid-2000s. His first better-known game was Archeology , to which he later developed an expansion and implementation as a card game, Archeology: The Card Game . In 2011 Dungeon Raiders and 2014 Pack of Heroes appeared , both of which were thematically linked to well-known role-playing games. In 2013 the card game Sushi Go! and Cacao followed in 2015, nominated for several prizes and supplemented by some additions. In 2016 he created a successor to Archeology with Archeology: The New Expedition and with Sushi Go Party, a party version of Sushi Go! before, in the same year he published the board game Imhotep: Baumeister Ägyptens , which was nominated in Germany for the award as Kennerspiel des Jahres . In 2017, Bärenpark , another game he developed, was released, which in the same year was awarded the main prize of the Austrian Game Prize Game of Games .
