Philip Francis Murphy (born March 25, 1933 in Cumberland , Maryland , USA , † September 2, 1999 ) was auxiliary bishop in Baltimore .
Life
Philip Francis Murphy received on 20 December 1958, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On January 11, 1976, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Tacarata and auxiliary bishop in Baltimore. The Archbishop of Baltimore, William Donald Borders , donated him episcopal ordination on February 29 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Baltimore, Thomas Austin Murphy , and the emeritus Archbishop of Baltimore, Lawrence Cardinal Shehan .
