Philip Köstring

John-Philip Köstring (born February 28, 1974 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

Köstring grew up as the son of Roland Köstring (* 1944) and the Brazilian Mariana Diaz Mariano da Rocha Filho (* 1940) in Munich. As a child he spent some time with his extended family in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. From 1996 to 1998 he studied in Los Angeles at the Stella Adler Academy . He achieved particular popularity with a leading role as paramedic Dimitri Papapostoulou in the series 112 - They save your life . After the series was shot, he devoted himself primarily to painting for a while. He exhibited three times in Munich between 2008 and 2011. Philip Köstring lives and works in Munich.
