Philip Nils Gabriel André Lindgren (born March 27, 1994 ) is a Swedish chess player .
successes
In 2012 he won the Swedish Junior Championship (U20) in Falun , and in 2013 he won the Malmö City Championship.
He plays team chess for the Malmö club Limhamns SK , and since the 2010/11 season he has been a member of the first team to play in the Elitserien . He won the Swedish team championship with this in the 2012/13 season and took part in the European Club Cup 2013 in Rhodes . In Germany, Lindgren has been playing for Bayern Munich in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga since the 2016/17 season, and in the Danish Skakligaen since 2017 for BMS Skak .
He has held the title of International Master since December 2015 . He achieved the norms for this at two norms tournaments in Växjö : the Visma Chess tournament in June 2014 and the Visma Chess tournament in June 2015. He ended the latter by exceeding the norms. He achieved a third IM norm in the IM group at Manhem Chessweek in Gothenburg in August 2015, a norms tournament organized by Schacksällskapet Manhem .
