Philipp Franz von Weichs
Philipp Franz von Weichs (* 1714 ; † March 25, 1755 in Körtlinghausen ) was canon in the duchy of Münster .
Life
Origin and family
Philipp Franz von Weichs was the son of the electoral Cologne chief hunter Franz Otto Freiherr von Weichs zu Körtlinghausen (1675–1738) and his wife Anna Theresia Agatha von Droste zu Füchten of the Westphalian noble family von Weichs . In 1714 Franz Otto had Körtlinghausen Castle built according to plans by the baroque master builder Justus Wehmer . Philip's brother Wilhelm Joseph (1716–1786) was canon in Münster and Paderborn.
Act
In 1733 Philipp Franz from the received Turnar Heidenreich Adolf von Nagel Loburg a Dompräbende in Münster and received the Subdiakonatsweihe . In 1748 he was archdeacon in Stadtlohn. Like his cousins, the canons of Droste zu Füchten, Philipp Franz belonged to the Plettenberg party in the cathedral chapter .
