Philipp Fuchs

Philipp Fuchs (born March 24, 1859 in Weinheim ; † February 1, 1931 ) was a German administrative officer and judge.

Life

Philipp Fuchs studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Leipzig . In 1879 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Freiburg . After graduation and the doctorate to Dr. jur. In 1883 he became a legal intern and in 1886 a trainee lawyer in Rastatt . In 1888 he was appointed second mayor of Baden-Baden . In 1891 he became bailiff and in 1893 senior bailiff in Mannheim. From there he moved to the Schönau district office in 1893 as an official director . In 1897 he switched to the judiciary and became a magistrate in Eppingen. From 1902 to 1920 he was chief magistrate in Karlsruhe and finally until his retirement in 1925 district court director in Heidelberg, where he lived until his death.
