Philipp Prosenik (born March 3, 1993 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a striker .
Career
Until 2009 he played for the second team of SK Rapid Wien before he moved to the U-18s of the English club FC Chelsea . After a successful first time in London, Prosenik had to flee due to injury. His next stop was AC Milan . But he didn't stay there long either, not least because of persistent problems with a meniscus cartilage, which made pain-free exercise virtually impossible. After a long period of suffering, Prosenik was able to restart at Rapid at the end of 2013, first in the second team, then with the professionals.
For the 2016/17 season he was awarded to Wolfsberger AC . In January 2018 he moved to the second division club SV Ried , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020. He left Ried after the 2017/18 season.
In September 2018 he moved to Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2019. After the 2018/19 season he left Mattersburg and moved to the second division club Floridsdorfer AC . After eleven goalless second division appearances for the FAC, Prosenik moved to the fourth-class ASV Siegendorf in January 2020 .
Personal
Philipp Prosenik is the son of the former soccer player Christian Prosenik . Partly due to his father's change of club, he got to know different football traditions as a teenager in Austria , Germany , England and Italy .
