Philipp Quinlan (born May 10, 1990 in Munich ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Klostersee in the major league since 2014 .

Career

Philipp Quinlan began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of Starbulls Rosenheim , for whose U18 juniors he was active in the German youth league from 2005 to 2008 . In the 2007/08 season he also made his debut for the first team of the Starbulls in the third-class league . The attacker played for the upper division EHC Klostersee from 2008 to 2010 and made his debut in the professional ice hockey league in the 2009/10 season as a loan player for the EHC Munich when he played five times in the second division .

For the 2010/11 season Quinlan received a contract with EHC Munich, who had achieved promotion to the German ice hockey league as a second division champion . In his rookie year in the top German league, he remained without points and penalties in 21 games for the newly promoted DEL . At the same time he was used with a license for his ex-club Starbulls Rosenheim in the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2011/12 season he was signed by the Hanover Indians , after which he moved to the Bietigheim Steelers at the end of the season . Since the 2014/15 season , Quinlan has been lace up the skates for the upper division EHC Klostersee.
