Philipp Rauenbusch (born May 7, 1973 ) is a German bass player and was a member of the band Reamonn .

He grew up in the Müllheim suburb of Niederweiler in Markgräflerland . Today he lives not far away in Freiburg im Breisgau .

Philipp Rauenbusch started playing the piano at the age of ten and has been playing bass since he was 16. He attended the Jazz & Rock School in Freiburg and the Bass School in Munich and studied piano and double bass in Karlsruhe and at the Freiburg University of Education (PH) .

He began his musical career in the school band Refrigerators of the Markgräfler Gymnasium in Müllheim and with the Freiburg band BB Bernhard . Both groups still exist today. He also worked as a bass player in the Christian youth work Ten Sing , through which he gained extensive stage experience on nationwide tours. In 2005, Philipp Rauenbusch created his own bass in collaboration with Rodguitars : the Career Sports Bass . Rauenbusch is also under contract with the manufacturer Music Man as an endorser and plays a 5-string Music Man Stingray bass.

Since the end of 2010 he has been a member of the band Stereolove , which Reamonn founded with the singer Thomas Hanreich ; he also played in the German band Otto Normal .
