Philipp Heinrich Rincker (born January 12, 1795 in Asslar ; † May 2, 1868 in Sinn ) was a bell founder and Nassau politician.

Life

Philipp Rincker was the son of the bell founder Justus Wilhelm Rincker (* 1771 in Leun as the son of the bell founder Wilhelm Heinrich Rincker; † after March 25, 1752) and his wife Elisabeth née Antoni (marriage on March 25, 1894, † after March 25, 1752). He was of Protestant denomination and on March 2, 1817 married Elisabeth, born Treupel in Oberroßbach , the daughter of Daniel Treupel, the owner of the Sinner Hut, and his wife Anna Margarethe, born Thielmann.

He settled in Sinn in 1817 and founded a bell foundry there, which still exists today under the name Rincker bell and art foundry . Among other things, the 3.2-ton citizen bell of the Liebfrauenkirche in Frankenberg an der Eder was made by him in 1837.

Philipp Rincker was elected to the Second Chamber of the Estates of the Duchy of Nassau in Electoral District II ( Herborn ) in 1858 . However, he resigned his mandate and Johannes Knapp was elected as a member of the constituency in a by- election.
