Philipp von Hilgers the Younger

Philipp Kaspar Ludwig Nepomuk Freiherr von Hilgers (born January 6, 1816 in Heister , † May 22, 1891 in Bonn ) was a Prussian administrative officer.

Life

Philipp von Hilgers was born the son of the Prussian district administrator Philipp von Hilgers (* May 9, 1785 - February 10, 1852) and his wife Sophie Philippine von Dhaem (* September 30, 1788; † April 19, 1849). He studied at the University of Bonn and became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn in 1836 . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1850 to 1871 he was district administrator for the Jülich district . As District Administrator a. D. he lived in Bonn until his death.

He married Marie Elisabeth Henriette Hildegard Hubertine Antoinnette Coels von der Brügghen in 1852 (* December 14, 1825, † June 3, 1863). The couple had several children:

  • Philipp Josef Hubert Maria (born June 10, 1854)
  • Marie Eugenie Hubertine Therese Franziska Josephine (born October 15, 1855)
  • Max Franz Josef Hubert Maria (born July 4, 1857), Major a. D. ⚭ 1907 Klara Clementine Auguste Bernhardine Hermanna Maria Josefine Huberta von Groote (born April 1, 1873)
