Philippe Gueneley
Philippe Jean Marie Joseph Gueneley (born November 9, 1938 in Dole ) is Bishop Emeritus of Langres .
Life
Philippe Jean Marie Joseph Gueneley was ordained a priest on June 29, 1964 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Langres on December 16, 1999 . The former bishop of Langres, Léon Aimé Taverdet FMC , donated him episcopal ordination on March 5th of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Marc Camille Michel Stenger , Bishop of Troyes , and Yves François Patenôtre , Bishop of Saint-Claude . His motto is Serviteur de l'Évangile de Dieu .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 21, 2014.
From May 2014 to July 5, 2015 he was Apostolic Administrator of the vacant Quimper Diocese .
