Village church of St. Peter and Paul

Piława (German historically Pielburg ) is a place in the rural community Borne Sulinowo in the Szczecinek district in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . In 2011 there were 249 residents here. The place lies along the lake Pile ( Pielburger See ) between Szczecinek (Neustettin) and Czaplinek (Tempelburg) on ​​the Kreisstraße 20 (formerly part of the Reichsstraße 158).

history

Pielburg belonged to the Neustettin district in the province of Pomerania . Alt Bärbaum belonged to the community and Alt Bärbaum, Dummfitz and Nemmin belonged to the parish.

It was renamed Pile in 1946 and Piława in 1998 .
