Pierangelo Bincoletto (born March 14, 1959 in Oderzo ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Pierangelo Bincoletto was a professional racing driver from 1980 to 1996 and was able to distinguish himself in various cycling disciplines, but his sporting focus was on the track .

In 1979 Bincoletto became Italian champion in the amateur team pursuit with Moreno Argentin , Gradi and Maurizio Bidinost . In the same year as well as 1982 he became national championship in points driving . At the UCI track world championships in Amsterdam in 1979 he took third place in the team pursuit with the Italian track four (with Bidinost, Silvestro Milani and Sandro Callari ), and in points he was vice world champion (amateurs).

1980 Bincoletto started at the Olympic Games in Moscow in the single (7th place) and the team pursuit (4th place).

Pierangelo Bincoletto also took part in the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia several times , but without success. He was more powerful in six-day races: He started a total of 128 races, of which he was able to win eight, with Adriano Baffi , Danny Clark , Laurent Biondi and Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle . In 1990 and 1991 he was also European champion in two-man team driving with Jens Veggerby .

Bincoletto has lived in Grenoble with his French wife since 1986 . He is the boss of the local cycling track , the “Vélodromes d'Eybens”, and runs an Italian restaurant.
