Pierre I. de Bourbon
Pierre I. de Bourbon ( German Peter von Bourbon ; * 1311 , † September 19, 1356 in the Battle of Maupertuis ) was a Duke of Bourbon since 1341 . He was a son of Duke Louis I of Bourbon and Marie d'Avesnes.
Pierre fought under the command of Duke John of Normandy during the Hundred Years War in 1341 and also took part in the War of the Breton Succession . In 1345 he went on a trip to Prussia with King John of Bohemia . He was wounded in the Battle of Crécy in 1346 and in 1355 he was appointed lieutenant general to the King of Gascon . Pierre was considered lavish and ostentatious, he died in 1356 in the battle of Maupertuis.
He married Isabella von Valois (1313-1383), daughter of Charles I of Valois and Mathilde (Mahaut) of Châtillon , Countess of Saint Pol in 1336 . Your children were:
