Pierre Nguyên Văn Viên
Pierre Nguyên Văn Viên (born January 8, 1965 in Huong Phuong ) is a Vietnamese clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Vinh .
Life
Pierre Nguyên Văn Viên was ordained a priest on October 3, 1999 .
Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Megalopolis in Proconsulari and auxiliary bishop in Vinh on June 15, 2013 . The bishop of Vinh, Paul Nguyên Thai Hop , donated him episcopal ordination on September 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Bathurst , Michael Joseph McKenna , and the Bishop of Phát Diêm , Joseph Nguyen Nang .
Since August 29, 2020, he has also been managing the vacant diocese of Hưng Hóa as Apostolic Administrator .
