Joseph Nguyen Nang
Joseph Nguyen Nang ( Vietnamese : Giuse Nguyễn Năng ; born November 24, 1953 in Phuc Nhac ) is a Vietnamese clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh City .
Life
Joseph Nguyen Nang was ordained a priest on June 9, 1990 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Phát Dim on July 25, 2009 . The episcopal ordination donated him the bishop of Xuân Lộc , Dominique Nguyên Chu Trinh , on September 8th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh , Bishop of Thanh Hóa , and Joseph Nguyên Van Yên , Former Bishop of Phát Diệm.
Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh City on October 19, 2019. The inauguration took place on December 11th of the same year.
