Pieve di Ledro is since 1 January 2010, a fraction of the municipality Ledro in Trentino , on Ledro . Pieve was a municipality that together with Tiarno di Sopra , Tiarno di Sotto , Bezzecca , Concei and Molina di Ledro formed the municipality of Ledro. Pieve had 623 inhabitants in 2007.

The village of Mezzolago on Lake Ledro belongs to the Pieve district.

history

Pieve has always been the religious and social center of the Ledro Valley . The parish church for the Annunciation of the Lord was first mentioned in 1235 and converted into a collegiate church in 1537 , from which the clerics had to supply the whole valley.

On November 30th, 2009, the majority of Pieve residents agreed to be incorporated into the new "Ledro" municipality. The agreement was implemented on January 1, 2010.
