Tiarno di Sotto is a fraction of the municipality of Ledro in the valley of the same name in Trentino . Tiarno di Sotto has about 689 inhabitants.
After a referendum on November 30, 2008, the former municipality merged on January 1, 2010 with the municipalities of Bezzecca , Concei , Molina di Ledro , Pieve di Ledro and Tiarno di Sopra to form the new municipality of Ledro.
In May 2010, a parliamentary group leader (Prosindaco) was elected together with the local council and mayor.
history
Tiarno di Sotto was on the Roman road through the Ledro Valley, but was also settled before, testimony to this is a necropolis , in which objects from the pre-Roman times , the Roman times and the migration period were found.
