Molina di Ledro is a fraction of the Italian municipality Ledro in the valley of the same name in Trentino .

The place is about 33 km southwest of Trento , east of Lake Ledrose on Torrente Ponale at 638 mslm
history
Following a referendum on November 30, 2008, Molina di Ledro merged with the municipalities of Bezzecca , Concei , Pieve di Ledro , Tiarno di Sopra and Tiarno di Sotto to form the municipality of Ledro on January 1st, 2010 . Before the incorporation, Molina di Ledro had 1561 inhabitants. The districts of Biacesa , Legos and Prè and between 1928 and 1955 Mezzolago and Pregasina belonged to the municipality .

Local government
The last mayor of Molina di Ledro was Franco Brighenti from the Lista Civica . In May 2010 a parliamentary leader (Prosindaco) was elected for Molina di Ledro together with the municipal council and mayor of Ledro.
Attractions
At Molina di Ledro, on the banks of Lake Ledro, there is the Lake Ledro Lake Dwelling Museum ( Italian: Museo delle palafitte del Lago di Ledro ). The pile dwellings on Lake Ledro are among the prehistoric pile dwellings around the Alps included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2011
