Pigor & Eichhorn are a Berlin cabaret and chanson duo with Thomas Pigor and Benedikt Eichhorn since 1995. The full name is actually “Pigor sings, Benedikt Eichhorn must accompany” .

Pigor & Eichhorn are known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for their salon hip-hop: a modern version of the cabaret song, a German “chanson à texte” that brings together current music with satirical content. Between the songs, the singer and the pianist engage in an entertaining, intelligent war, which is the central theme of the program.

Their lyrics "show the way for the big city song of the late 20th century", as stated in the reason for the German Cabaret Award, which they received in 1999 in the chanson category.
