John Pinette (2010)

John Pinette (born March 23, 1964 in Boston , Massachusetts , † April 5, 2014 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) was an American comedian and actor .

Life

Pinette was born in Boston and attended Malden Catholic High School there . At first he wanted to work in the commercial field, but on the advice of a friend who found him very funny, he decided to give it a try as a comedian. So he started working as a stand-up comedian and appeared on stage and on television shows such as The Tonight Show and The View .

In addition to his comic career, Pinette worked as an actor in film and television. Films he has appeared in include Junior (1994), Traumpaare (2000) and The Punisher (2004). He has also appeared on series such as Parker Lewis and the sitcoms Alf and Seinfeld .

In 1999 Pinette was nominated for an American Comedy Award for his performance on the Juste pour rire . In 2004 he appeared in the musical Hairspray . Since April 2010 he has been touring various cities in the USA.

On April 5, 2014, Pinette died of a pulmonary embolism in a Pittsburgh hotel room .
