The Piz Calandari is a sub-peak of the Splügen limestone mountains in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . The mountain is located - although north through the town of Sufers in Rheinwald location - on the border of the two Schamser communities Andeer and Casti-Wergenstein .

Characteristic

The Piz Calandari belongs to a ridge that stretches from the Cufercalhorn to Piz Vizan and has to put up with the fact that there is not only a nameless point higher than its summit, but also the pass 'Farcletta digl Lai Pintg' between the Cufercalhorn and this nameless point.

However, what is interesting about this summit - as usual in this area - is its rock. This is not meant for climbing, but just for looking at. A little east of the summit there is also a landslide cone - without a mountain, it seems, and fascinatingly on slopes well below 30 degrees.

Lai da Calandari is located northwest of Piz Calandari at 2,436 meters. It can be reached on a path past Piz Calandari in 35 minutes from the Cufercalhütte .
