The Piz Danis ( 2497 m above sea level ) is a mountain on the Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden ( Switzerland ).
The mountain is easily accessible from several sides by hiking trails ( grade T2 ). The two ski lifts Auarara and Fadail bring ski tourists to the Pedra Grossa chairlift in winter , with which a 5-minute journey takes about 450 meters in altitude to Alp Nova ( 1980 m above sea level ). Another Piz Gertrud ski lift brings skiers to just before the rocky ridge and just below the Danis summit. From Piz Danis you have a panoramic view of the Lenzerheide, Oberhalbstein , Heinzenberg , Domleschg and parts of the Surselva .
