Pyotr Viktorovich Buslow ( Russian Пётр Викторович Буслов ; born June 1, 1976 in Khabarovsk , Soviet Union ) is a Russian film director .

Life

Buslow, who grew up in Vladivostok , studied at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow . In 2003 he made his debut film Bumer . It is about four petty criminals on the run, who speed through the country in a stolen black BMW (called "Bumer") and into their doom. The budget for the film was $ 700,000. So far, he has grossed $ 1.6 million. Bumer has received awards at several Russian film festivals. Buslow then shot the sequel Bumer: Film vtoroy in 2006 ( Russian Бумер. Фильм второй ).
