Plan B is a German rock band of the singer and guitarist Johnny Haeusler .

history

The band was founded in Berlin in 1984 . In the same year she appeared in the opening act for The Clash on their tour of Germany. In 1985 she starred alongside The Doctors in the film Richy Guitar . At the end of the 1980s, the band switched to the major label BMG , released the album The Greenhouse Effect and played as the opening act for the Ramones . The 1993 released single Life's a Beat became a small radio hit in the US, whereupon the band played some concerts in the US, also in the opening act for Duran Duran . When her label stopped supporting her in the mid-1990s, Plan B disbanded in 1996 for the time being. The album Alphabet Soup , which was already being produced at that time , was published as MP3 on Spreeblick , Johnny Haeusler's blog , in 2004 .

In March 2012, Plan B announced their reunion, but not in the cast of the BMG years. Bassist Fritz Neitzert was replaced by former Rainbirds and Depp-Jones member Beckmann, and Sven Schumacher took over the role of second guitarist Hans Hackenberger. In April 2012 the band released a re-recorded version of Grab It! , a track from the 1991 album Intensified! .
