action

Bruno, left by Laura because of Pablo, is jealous of the couple in love. His plan is to convince Laura that he is the better partner for her. Laura, however, makes it unmistakably clear that she will stick to the relationship with Pablo.

After a while, Bruno realizes that his plan is not working and he decides on a "plan B", namely an intrigue to get Pablo to part ways with Laura. He finds out about Pablo's life and learns that he has had something with a man before. Now Bruno decides to hit Pablo himself up.

Bruno speaks to the unsuspecting in sports and starts to build a false friendship with him, calls him "his" friend (in the original Spanish text: novio = relationship partner) to others, supposedly for fun, initiates physical contact, overnight stays together and finally - under the pretext he has to practice for a commercial - he kisses Pablo. As the climax of the wrong game, Bruno confesses his supposed love to him in a letter. As a result, he finally manages that Pablo, although he now sees through the deception, separates from Laura in order to be clear about his feelings.

Bruno, who seems to have achieved his goal and gets back together with Laura, now realizes for his part that he has fallen in love with Pablo during the course of the intrigue.

background

After his short film El reloj (2008) had been shown with success at the Sundance Film Festival and in Cannes , it seemed relatively easy for Berger to start the Plan B film project without government funding.

The two main actors Manuel Vignau and Lucas Ferraro have already played together in Berger's short film Una última voluntad (2008) . Vignau can be seen here in the role of a delinquent who asks for a kiss as a last wish before being shot. Lost the firing squad and the soldier Ferraro plays loses.
