Carl Otto von Kalckreuth

Carl Otto von Kalckreuth (born July 15, 1835 in Bielsko , Birnbaum district ; † September 4, 1900 in Muchoczyn , Birnbaum district) was a Prussian officer and member of the state parliament.

Life

origin

His parents were the Prussian Rittmeister Karl Eduard von Kalckreuth (* November 29, 1800 - March 15, 1864) and Albertine Josepha Ulrike von Tempelhoff (* October 30, 1800 - February 14, 1837). His father married twice: Sophie von Plessen-Meerheimb († 1847) and Louise von der Hellen (* June 5, 1800; † January 7, 1873).

Career

He was Rittmeister in the Rhenish Cuirassier Regiment No. 8 . In 1864 he retired from military service and devoted himself to the administration of his own property. From 1871 to 1876 he was dike captain of the Birnbaum district and worked as a district administrator in the Birnbaum district from 1876 to 1887. Kalckreuth was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Posen 3 constituency ( Samter district - Birnbaum district ) from 1879 to 1888 . In 1894 he was appointed to the Prussian mansion , to which he belonged until his death in 1900.

family

On June 19, 1866, he married Countess Marie Julie Diana von Beust (born January 22, 1845), a daughter of Lieutenant General Friedrich von Beust . The couple had the following children:

  • Karl Friedrich Wilhelm (born March 31, 1873), Prussian lieutenant
