Platja des Rajolí is a small sandy beach on the east coast of the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca . It is located in the northeast of the municipality of Son Servera on the Badia de Son Servera ("Bay of Son Servera"), on the southern edge of the town of Costa des Pins .
Location and description
The beach of Es Rajolí is located within the residential area of Costa des Pins, which stretches south of the Serra de Son Jordi below the 276 meter high Puig Negre de sa Torre along the north side of the Badia de Son Servera . The approximately 280 inhabitants village is 4.5 kilometers from the main town of Son Servera and 3 km from the tourist dominated Cala Bona removed. Costa des Pins can only be reached on an access road that ends in the east of the town on the coast.
The very narrow sandy beach of Es Rajolí is only about 50 meters long. It is mainly visited by the local residents. The beach cannot be used when the waves are strong. Deposits of seaweed also temporarily impair the opportunities to stay. The sandy area below the fenced property is flanked by rocks that prevent access along the shore from Platja des Ribell to the west and the small cape Punta Rotja to the east. On the slopes of the rocky coast, there are individual pine trees that are denser above the beach and give the coastline and the place its name.
Access
From Cala Bona the road Camí Cala Bona leads over the Avinguda des Pinar into the town of Costa des Pins to its end at the Cap des Pinar . Carrer de sa Font branches off to the right from Avinguda des Pinar . Shortly after the junction, on the right-hand side of the road, there is the sign to the beach of Es Rajolí , which can be reached from there via a staircase leading down to the sea.
