Beaches and bays in Mallorca |
Es Ribell is a small beach in the east of the Balearic island of Mallorca . It is located in the northeastern part of the municipality of Son Servera .
Location and description
Es Ribell beach is only about 170 meters long and lies between the larger one of sa Marjal , of which it is actually the northern continuation, and the smaller, northeastern es Rajolí below the settlement of Costa des Pins . It Ribell and sa Marjal be by the mouth of the Torrent de Son Jordi in the bay of Son Servera ( Badia de Son Servera ) separated from each other, a torrent ( Torrent ) which drains only during heavy rainfall into the sea.
Today Ribell and sa Marjal are often summarized under the name es Ribell in Spanish publications . The entire beach is located outside of the buildings of the neighboring settlement of Port Vell to the south of sa Marjals and the northern Costa des Pins.
In contrast to sa Marjal , which has a beach bar where loungers and parasols can also be borrowed, es Ribell beach has so far been left in its original state. The slightly elevated road behind the beach is covered by pines and tamarisks . In addition to buses, there is also a mini-train for tourists from Cala Millor via Cala Bona to Costa des Pins, which stops next to the sa Marjal beach bar , about 200 meters from the south end of es Ribell .
Access
Located on the right on the road from Cala Millor to Costa des Pins, behind the junction to the main road towards Artà and Capdepera .
