The Platteneck ( 1804  m ) is the eastern summit in the ridge in the Estergebirge in the Bavarian Prealps that stretches eastward from the Hohen Kisten .

Alpinism

The mountain is primarily visited from the Hohe Kisten, but can also be climbed via the Walchenseer Steig from Wallgau or from Einsiedl am Walchensee .
