Ploske ( Ukrainian Плоске ; Russian Плоское Ploskoje ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 680 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in 1765, is the only village of the same name, 27.199 km² district council in the west of Tarashcha Rajon .
Ploske is located in the Dnieper highlands at an altitude of 187 m on the territorial roads T – 10–17 and T – 10–21, 21 km southwest of the Tarashcha Rajon center and 135 km south of the capital Kiev .
Personalities
The Ukrainian zoologist Oleksandr Markewytsch was born there in 1905 .
