history

In 1921 Avram Tschaliowski founded a sugar refinery in Burgas as the second mainstay of his "industrial house for the production of sweets, vegetable oils , halva , cocoa , chocolate , biscuits , caramel and others". In 1929 he outsourced the production facility in Burgas and founded the factory for confectionery and vegetable oil, the predecessor of today's confectionery manufacturer Pobeda. In the following years the factory was run by Tschaliowski's descendants.

After the assumption of power by the BKP the factory in the second half of the 1940s was nationalized . In 1998 it was privatized. From 1998 to 2006 Dimitar Nikolow was managing director of Pobeda.
