Podillja ( Ukrainian Поділля ; Russian Подолье Podolje , Polish Capowce ) is a village in the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 1700 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1715 under the name Zapivtsi ( Цапівці ), received its current name in 1965.
Podillja is the administrative center of the 32.76 km² district council of the same name in the north of Salishchyky Rajon , to which the village of Anheliwka ( Ангелівка , ⊙ ) with about 210 inhabitants belongs.
The village is located on the left bank of the Dschuryn ( Джурин ), a 51 km long left tributary of the Dniester , 33 km north of the district center Salishchyky and about 100 km south of the oblast center Ternopil . Territorial road T – 20–16 runs through the village .
