Pogorzeliska (German Kriegheide ) is a place in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland and belongs to the municipality of Chocianów .
church
A sight in the village is the former Protestant border church , now the local Catholic parish church. The Grenzkirche in Kriegheide is known for the famous palm tree, which was carved out of wood in the middle of the church and which covered the soundhole to the attic with its leaves. Because when the church was overcrowded, the “upper congregation” sat there and took part in the service.
