Point Perpendicular Light is a lighthouse on the southern tip of the Beecroft Peninsula , at the northern entrance to Jervis Bay in Australia .

The Lighthouse Point Perpendicular Light 210 kilometers from Sydney and 43 kilometers from Nowra removed. Monument protection

The lighthouse and other buildings at Point Perpendicular and Cape St George Lighthouse across the bay are listed on the Australian Register of the National Trust as Listed Properties.

Exclave

The Australian Capital Territory received the Jervis Bay Territory according to the Jervis Bay Territory Acceptance Act 1915 , as it should have its own access to the sea according to the Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 . Within the exclave of Jervis Bay Territory , the lighthouse and an area of ​​around 200 by 200 meters are now an exclave of the state of New South Wales .
