history

In 1968, Pol-Mot was founded as a state foreign trade company and exported vehicles made in the People's Republic of Poland abroad. Ursus

In 1997 Pol-Mot bought the commercial vehicle manufacturer WFMR Agromet-Warfama, originally founded in Dobre Miasto in 1946 , and listed it on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2007 under the name Pol-Mot Warfama SA . In 2011 Pol-Mot finally took over more than 45 percent of the shares in the commercial vehicle manufacturer Ursus SA , which was founded in Warsaw in 1893 and which had previously gone bankrupt in 2006 and had changed hands several times.

After the factories were merged in Lublin , all tractors , agricultural machinery , city buses and other products built by Pol-Mot will only be sold under the brand name Ursus . The production takes place on the factory premises of FSC Lublin . Distribution takes place worldwide, with a focus on Europe , Asia and Africa .

In 2020, the Dutch agricultural machinery supplier Trioliet took over part of the factory premises operated by Pol-Mot in Opalenica , where components for Trioliet had previously been produced.
