Poltrona Frau
Poltrona Frau is an Italian furniture manufacturer . Founded in 1912 by Renzo Frau from Cagliari , it has been controlled by the American Haworth Group since 2014. The company is one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Italy. The headquarters are in Tolentino .
Originally the company was a supplier for royal houses, salons and luxury liners. Since 1980 the switch to industrial production and contemporary design began. B. by Marco Zanuso , Mario Bellini and Ferdinand A. Porsche . In addition to the Poltrona Frau brand, the Poltrona Frau Group also includes the furniture brands Cassina , Cappellini, Gufram and Nemo.
The company now also produces aircraft equipment and supplies automobile manufacturers, real leather equipment is produced for Ferrari , Maserati and Bugatti , but also for individual equipment lines of the brands Volkswagen , Alfa Romeo , Lancia , Fiat and BMW , as optional leather equipment for the 7 series. The seats for the .italo high-speed train operated by Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori were also supplied by Poltrona Frau.
