Popiwka ( Ukrainian Попівка ; Russian Поповка Popowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 3,200 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in the second half of the 18th century, is the only place in the district council of the same name in Karliwka district .
Popiwka located on the left bank of the river Ortschyk , a tributary of the Oril , opposite the Rajonzentrum Karlivka and on the regional road P-11 kilometers between the 60 to the west located Oblasthauptstadt Poltava and the 27 km in the Eastern town of Krasnohrad in the Kharkiv Oblast .
