Michael Edele wrote on the website Laut.de : “It seems to be clear to the trio that they have to prove something with this record, and that's why they are really steamy ... In this form, the guys can still release countless records. “It awarded four stars out of five. Plattentests.de judged: “History can't be repeated, but Power of the Damager is one of the very few comeback albums that doesn't make you want to go back to the good old days. After more than a decade, you have to build on old achievements first. ”The score was seven out of ten points.
