Carved into Stone is the ninth studio album by the American hardcore / metal band Prong . It was released in April 2012 by Long Branch Records / SPV .
Emergence
The album was recorded with Steve Evetts ( Dillinger Escape Plan , Every Time I Die ). The songs were written by the band, the lyrics were written by Tommy Victor . Ammunition is a cover of Channel Zero from the album Feed Em With a Brick (2011). Revenge ... Best Served Cold was created in cooperation between Victor and Mike Longworth (Ex-Prong, Lovers Revolt). A music video was also shot for the song. Victor said it was the toughest record on an album he was ever involved in.
reception
On the Metal.de website , the reviewer gave eight out of ten points. He praised the "fat" guitars and wrote: "Despite a few deductions in the B-note (not all tracks completely captivate the listener), the work deserves a rating in the upper range." The band has tasted blood again and "still wants it." know once ". The side Metalnews.de saw a "return to very old form." The rating was 6.5 out of seven points.
